While kind of on the pricey side I have found the Boson practice exams to be really close to the real exams. I imagine they just have bots crawling looking for key words, the A plus being one of them. I took it off my resume and they stopped sending me emails. While I have learned much from these certificates and they might be checking some boxes for HR, I have never been able to point to any one of them and say that they have DIRECTLY earned me more money.Īlso the A plus seems to attract alto of recruiters on indeed looking to fill help desk type positions. Which is more than I can say for any other cert I have, Net plus, Security plus, Linux Plus, Project plus, CCNA, CCNA security. So for me the A plus was definitely worth it and paid for it's self. (very, Very large MSP that had multiple enterprise accounts, A plus checks a box so you get put on a more "valued" account."). My A plus got me hired on help desk at a dollar and change higher rate than those that did not have it. ![]()
